It is a family-owned and operated farm that raises purebred and crossbred Boer goats. The owner is Lori Armes.

Lori has been raising Boer goats since 2006 and has added many high-quality Black Boers Goats, Dappled Boer Goats, and Red Boer Goats to the farm’s traditional stock. 

Lori spent several years researching genetics and added several Ennobled dapple genetics in 2017.

Some of the key features od Double Creek Ranch Black Boer’s animals are their outstanding muscle mass, size, features, and exceptional body conformation carrying the genetics of South African & Codi/Pci.

All goats are registered with American Boer Goat Association (ABGA).

Lone Star Goats is a reputable farm located in Lampasas, Central Texas. As a goat breeder, the farm raises and sells Nubian and Black Spanish goats.

Miller Show Goats is a family-run business located about a mile north of Dublin, Texas, off Highway 377. The owners are Terry and Patti Miller.      

The first full-blood Boer buck that Terry and Patti purchased for breeding was a New Zealand buck. 

Since then, they have crossbred genetics of CNR, Pistolero, Sasquatch, Spinner, Tabu, Ubora, Yabu, and others. Currently, the farm has five strong Doe herdsires.

The farm’s main purpose for having its Doe herd is to raise show quality Wether goats. Most of the Does at the farm are high percentage Boer Does. It also has a good number of full-blood Boers.   

When breeding, Terry and Patti focus on muscles, structural correctness, and eye appeal without compromising on the maternal traits that make for an excellent replacement Doe.  

The purebred and crossbred goats of this farm have achieved a lot of success by winning many Grand and Reserves at county shows.

Custer Midkiff Show Goats is in Big Spring, Howard County, Texas. Aaron and Jessica Custer own and operate the farm, supported by their two children, Emilee and Case. 

Aaron is an Agriculture Teacher at the Coahoma Independent School District in Texas, and when he is not teaching kids, you will find him on the farm. 

The Custer family has been breeding goats for more than 50 years.

In 2000, Aaron wanted to give breeding Boer goats a try. The family attended a few sales and ultimately bought their first Boer named Billy. 

Later, Aaron also bought a few half-blood female goats. They began focusing on breeding some high-quality females that could help them make a place in the show goat industry. 

Gradually, the farm started breeding structurally robust, strong-ribbed, and attractive female goats. 

The farm’s show goats have won many events, including the following:
