After getting married to Jody in 1977, the couple carried on with breeding and raising 4-H Club pigs, gilts, and boars. Later, their three children Michael, Christopher, and Adam began helping in the farm’s daily business. Even achieving success in showing 4-H pigs in various events (winning many of them).
