In the world of breeding pigs for farming and show events, there are thousands of them that get abandoned in the US every year.

This is where Noah’s Ark PotBelly Pig Sanctuary comes in, making sure they create a safe place to home many of these animals.

Data shows that more than 10,000 homeless and abandoned pigs find a home in a sanctuary like Noah’s Ark every year. Besides purchasing, people have the option of adopting these animals to help the cause too.

The mission of this sanctuary is to create an open herd sanctuary in a natural environment. Due to the increased number of pigs, the sanctuary has full capacity and is unable to take more pigs unless it finds homes for some of its current animals.

Noah’s Ark takes good care of more than 60 pigs, and it encourages visitors to sponsor a pig for $20 per month.
